Preview of 2010 Mazda MAZDA3 i Touring
The last of the 2.0-liter trims, the 2010 MAZDA3 i Touring offers luxury not seen in the i SV and i Sport. With two transmissions available, the five-speed manual or five-speed shiftable automatic, the i Touring adds traction control and an antiskid system to the powertrain. Cloth upholstery is still standard for the front bucket and split-folding rear seats, however power door locks and remote keyless entry have been added to the power windows and mirrors. Bluetooth is added here, as well as cruise control. The car's 16-inch wheels are now alloy, and are stopped by four-wheel antilock disc brakes with the benefit of brake assist. A tilt/telescoping steering wheel has controls for the MP3-compatible stereo, which has a connection for digital-media players. Additional safety features include dual front, front-side, and curtain-side airbags, a theft-deterrent system, and a tire pressure monitor.
