2009 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-v

The sportiest and most powerful Sentra trim available for 2009, the Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V comes equipped with a high-output 2.5-liter, double-overhead-cam inline four-cylinder (I4) engine, which punches out 200 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque, driving the Sentra SE-R Spec V from 0 to 60 in a respectable 6.7 seconds. The engine links to a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission, which is the only transmission available for this trim. The sport-tuned suspension sits at a lowered height, when compared to the standard Sentra trims, and comes with a front stabilizer bar and sport-tuned shocks and struts. The SE-R Spec-V also has a reinforced upper cowl and a trunk-mounted V-brace, which reduce flexing and improve overall stability at higher speeds and on twisty roads. The SE-R Spec-V rides on 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with performance tires.

Exterior features include a sport grille, dark-chrome bezel headlights, lower-body side sill extensions, dark-smoked bezel taillights, a chrome exhaust finisher, and a rear spoiler. Interior features include front sport bucket seats, black sport seat cloth with red stitching, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with red stitching, red front seat belts, aluminum pedal pads, and sport metallic-tone accents. Air conditioning and cruise control also come standard. The six-speaker audio system includes a CD player, speed-sensitive volume, and an MP3 input jack. Owners can add an optional Premium Audio package, which includes an eight-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system with a 6-CD changer and XM satellite radio.
