2009 Toyota Yaris Hatchback 3-door

The 2009 Toyota Yaris Hatchback 3-door is, in essence, one of the base trims for this model, along with the base sedan. The Hatchback 3-door shares a drivetrain with all the other trims – a 1.5-liter I4 engine with 106 hp and 103 lb-ft of torque mated to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed electronically controlled automatic – and shares all the same safety features. And that drivetrain gives the owner what is most impressive about any of the Yaris trims – 29 city/36 highway mpg with the manual transmission (29/35 with the automatic) and the Ultra Low Emission Vehicle tag.

The Hatchback 3-door trim features 14-inch steel wheels with P175/65R14 tires and full wheel covers, body-color grille surround and mirrors, CFC-free air conditioning, fabric-trimmed four-way adjustable front seats, a folding rear bench seat, a liftback storage cover, tilt steering wheel, and Yaris’s stylish instrumentation that does vary from trim to trim, this one featuring black-face Optitron speedometer and LCD odometer, tripmeter, and fuel gauge.
