The 2009 Nissan Xterra S 4WD has all the features of the rear-wheel-drive S and then adds Nissan’s shift-on-the-fly four-wheel-drive system with a two-speed transfer case. Like all the Xterra 4WD trims, the S 4WD has four-wheel limited slip and weighs about 200 pounds more than its RWD counterpart.
