Preview of 2009 Honda CR-V LX 4WD
The obvious addition for the 2009 Honda CR-V LX 4WD from the base CR-V LX is Honda’s Real Time four-wheel-drive system. When the front wheels slip, the four-wheel-drive system uses dual hydraulic pumps to automatically send more torque from the 2.7-liter, inline four-cylinder engine to the rear wheels. The more slippage there is up front, the more torque gets pushed to the back wheels. The LX 4WD does get slightly lower gas mileage, rated at 20 city/26 highway/22 combined mpg.
