2009 Mazda MAZDA3 i Touring Value

The 2009 MAZDA3 i Touring Value four-door sedan comes equipped with a number of features not available on the entry-level i Sport trim, including power windows and door locks, a remote illuminated keyless entry system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with cruise and audio controls, a leather-wrapped shift knob, cruise control, remote releases for the fuel door and trunk, and air conditioning with a pollen filter. Other standard interior features include cloth seats, front reclining sport bucket seats, a center console with dual storage compartments, and a six-speaker AM/FM audio system with a CD player, automatic level control, and an MP3 input jack. Exterior features include power exterior mirrors, foglights, and halogen headlights.

A 148-hp, 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with variable valve timing powers the i Touring Value. The engine generates 135 lb-ft of torque, which drives the sedan from 0 to 60 in just under 10 seconds, and links to a five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic. Other performance-related features include electro-hydraulic power-assist steering and antilock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist. Standard safety features include advanced front airbags, front-seat-mounted side-impact airbags, and side-curtain airbags for both rows of seats.
