Preview of 2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5 i Special Edition
The 2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5 i Special Edition shares a drivetrain and many significant features with the 2.5 i – from dual chrome exhausts on the exterior to air conditioning and cruise control on the interior – and adds a few extra touches. The biggest upgrades are on the interior, especially concerning the audio system. The 100-watt, six-speaker stereo in the 2.5 i is replaced by a 385-watt 9-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system with 7-channel amplifier/equalizer, subwoofer, digital signal processing, MP3/WMA capability, and speed-sensitive auto volume control. Other upgrades include a power tilt/sliding-glass moonroof, three-spoke steering wheel with cruise controls, eight-way power driver’s seat, and a 60/40-split, flat-folding rear seat.
