The 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan SE comes standard with a 3.3-liter V6 mated to a four-speed automatic that gets 17 city/24 highway mpg - this is a less-powerful drivetrain than the one in the one-step-up SXT. The SE's interior features Chrysler’s Stow-n-Go seating, in which the second row of bucket seats and third-row bench can be folded flat, and the third row can also be used in a 60/40 split or flipped rearward for tailgate seating. Other highlights for the SE include 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, a four-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo, overhead console with interior conversation mirror, and a host of safety features, including multistage front airbags, supplemental side curtain airbags for all three rows, antilock brakes, and Chrysler’s Electronic Stability Program.
