2009 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SE

The 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SE offers a more powerful engine and a wider range of standard features than the entry-level Altima Coupe 2.5 S. Power comes in the form of a 3.5-liter, low-emissions V6, which produces 270 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The V6 engine features variable valve timing and direct ignition and links to a six-speed manual transmission, although drivers can opt for Nissan's Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). Fuel economy numbers for the V6 check in at 19/27 city/highway mpg with the manual transmission and 19/26 with the CVT transmission. The front-wheel-drive Altima 3.5 SE rides on beefy 18-inch wheels and a sport-oriented suspension, with retuned front struts and a thicker front stabilizer bar than in the 2.5 S's suspension. The standard package also includes traction control.

Inside, standard features for the 3.5 SE include an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power sliding glass moonroof, wood-tone or metallic trim (depending on the interior color), push-button ignition, remote keyless entry with remote front window operation, and a trip computer with outside temperature display. A six-speaker AM/FM audio system with a CD player and MP3 input jack also comes standard. A Premium Package adds leather-appointed seats, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic temperature control, Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, and a nine-speaker digital Bose audio system, among other features. Exterior features include foglights, heated outside mirrors, automatic on/off headlights, and splashguards.
