The 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser Base trim gives you a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with a five-speed manual transmission. Cloth upholstery covers the front bucket and split-folding rear seats, while a tilt steering wheel helps drivers locate a comfortable position. Power windows and door locks join remote keyless entry, air conditioning, and a center console to provide some comfort and convenience at this level. A tachometer and trip computer are also included. An AM/FM/CD player is the standard audio system while a rear spoiler and 15-inch wheels with covers attempt to spiff things up a bit. Variable-intermittent front wipers are matched by a rear defogger with wiper and washer.
