2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS

The top-shelf trim level in the TrailBlazer lineup, the 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS five-door, five-passenger midsize SUV ups its lineup's standards with such offerings as 20-inch polished alloy wheels, a self-leveling suspension system, premium leather upholstery and cabin trim, front power lumbar supports, and a rear limited-slip differential. Options for the ’09 TrailBlazer SS mirror those for the LT3 trim level.

Standard power is also boosted for the rear-wheel drive ‘09 Chevy TrailBlazer SS, which features a 6.0-liter OHV V8 engine and four-speed automatic. This pairing will pound out 390 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, potent enough to haul 6,800 pounds of trailer with the standard towing hitch. Obviously, that’s a lot of horses to feed, thus fuel economy in the ’09 TrailBlazer SS drops to 12/16 mpg.
