2009 Cadillac DTS Luxury II

The 2009 Cadillac DTS Luxury II sedan seats five passengers in a luxury-oriented cabin, highlighted by such upscale features as heated and cooled power-adjustable front bucket seats with memory settings, tri-zone climate control, and a heated steering wheel. The outboard rear seats are also heated. Rich Nuance leather upholstery comes standard throughout the cabin. In addition, an Ultrasonic Parking Assist system, which alerts drivers with LED indicators and an audible warning if objects are nearby when backing up, comes standard. Other interior features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth, and remote keyless entry. OnStar, which also comes standard for '09, offers such services as turn-by-turn navigation, remote door unlock, and roadside assistance, while the 8-speaker audio system includes a CD player, XM satellite radio, automatic volume control, and an MP3 input jack. A DVD-based navigation system and a power tilt-and-slide sunroof are among the options.

Outside, the '09 DTS Luxury II comes standard with such features as HID headlights, LED taillights, heated mirrors, and a driver's-side auto-dimming mirror. A 4.6-liter Northstar V8 engine, generating 275 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, powers the front-wheel-drive DTS Luxury II. The engine links to a four-speed Hydra-Matic transmission. Cadillac recommends premium-grade gasoline for the Northstar V8, which posts fuel economy numbers of 15/23 mpg. All-speed traction control, antilock brakes with brake assist, and the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system all come standard. The '09 DTS Luxury II rides on 17-inch wheels with all-season tires.
