Preview of 2009 Ford Focus SES
The 2009 Ford Focus SES comes loaded with goodies – especially appealing considering that the pricetag is still reasonable at $17,570. The interior of the SES gets a serious upgrade from the SE's with ambient lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering-wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, Ford’s SYNC voice-activated, in-vehicle communications and entertainment center, a metallic instrument panel appliqué with bright cluster rings, release handles, and register accents, and a metallic console top plate.
The Focus SES's performance gets a boost from an enhanced European-inspired suspension, a rear stabilizer bar, and 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels with P205/50R16 BSW tires. The exterior upgrades for the SES are similar to those of the SE Coupe, with body-color door handles, a chrome exhaust tip, power and heated body-color sideview mirrors, a rear decklid spoiler, and foglamps.
