2009 Chevrolet Tahoe LT2 4WD

The 2009 Tahoe LT2 4WD's long list of standard features includes Chevy's Autotrac on-demand four-wheel-drive system, which ensures maximum stability and traction in all types of driving conditions. A 310-hp, 5.3-liter Vortec V8 engine provides power to the four-wheel-drive system through a six-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission with a tap-up/tap-down manual shift feature. The engine runs on E85 fuel, thanks to its FlexFuel capability, and features Active Fuel Management, which shuts down four of the engine's eight cylinders when they're not required to conserve fuel. The V8 also features the Tahoe XFE technology, which helps improve fuel efficiency. The LT2 4WD comes equipped with GM's StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, and rides on 17-inch wheels and a Premium Smooth Ride suspension.

The LT2 4WD's three-row, seven-passenger cabin includes such standard features as leather seats in the first two rows, tri-zone climate control, six-way power-adjustable front bucket seats, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals, and a remote starter system. An Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist, which also comes standard, uses beeps and flashing lights to alert drivers when stationary objects are within 8 feet of the vehicle when backing up. Other standard features include Bluetooth wireless connectivity and an audio system with a 6-CD changer and XM satellite radio. Options include a Luxury Package, which adds heated first- and second-row seats and a Bose audio system, and a Z71 Package, which adds such features as an upgraded suspension, unique 18-inch wheels, high-pressure shocks, and a unique front fascia.
