2009 Lincoln MKZ Base

The 2009 Lincoln MKZ Base is anything but, with a list of standard features that would make most top-tier trims jealous. Motivated by a 3.5-liter V6, the MKZ’s sole transmission is a six-speed automatic. 18-inch alloys are found at all four corners, and a full-size spare is included. A power liftgate can be found in the rear, and it includes a wiper and washer combination for the rear glass, along with a defogger. Automatic wiper-activated headlights as well as foglights provide illumination, and rear privacy glass keeps passengers comfortably shielded from the outside world. Inside, comfort is handled by dual-zone automatic climate controls and heated and cooled 10-way power leather front bucket seats with lumbar adjustment, as well as a split-folding rear. The driver enjoys a memory system that governs the heated power mirrors and seat as well as a tilt and telescopic wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel. All passengers benefit from a 6-CD stereo with MP3 playback, satellite radio, iPod adaptor, Bluetooth, voice recognition, and steering-wheel controls. A center console provides some storage, and wood interior trim reflects the luxury inherent with the Lincoln make. Power windows, door locks, and remote keyless and keypad entry are all standard. Further features include illuminated visor mirrors, a tachometer, garage door opener, and floormats.

Safety features for the 2009 Lincoln MKZ Base include dual front, front-side, and curtain-side airbags with rollover deployment, antilock four-wheel disc brakes with anti-skid, traction control, a tire pressure monitor, rear obstacle detection system, and a theft deterrent system.
