The Vibe GT is a new addition to the lineup for 2009. This trim adds a rear spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels, an upgraded 320-watt MP3 audio system, full power accessories, cruise control, and keyless entry. Aesthetic enhancements include leather-and-cloth combination sport seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

The GT's 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine makes 158 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. A five-speed automatic transmission is also available. The Vibe GT speeds from 0 to 60 mph in about 8 seconds, and fuel economy is estimated at 21/28 mpg.
