This two-wheel-drive version of the Silverado adds an extra set of rear wheels. While the truck's 373 lb-ft of torque is unaffected by this addition, the 6.0-liter V8's total horsepower output is reduced from 353 to 312.

The LTZ adds several luxury features like rain-sensing wipers, rear audio controls, leather upholstery, a Bose audio system with a six-disc in-dash CD changer, Homelink, keyless start, and 12-way powered and heated front seats. This top-shelf trim also includes special interior design elements like wood and metallic accents in the dash. Silverado Extended Cabs feature a set of smaller rear doors, which are front-hinged.
