The 2008 Saab Turbo X SportCombi is much like its sedan cousin, but this five-door wagon adds more cargo capacity and an extra power outlet in the trunk. With less than 600 being offered, the limited edition 2008 Turbo X SportCombi celebrates turbo power with a 280-hp, 2.8-liter DOHC turbo V6, paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic. Like the sedan, it featurs all-wheel drive in its XWD system and unique electronic limited slip rear differential. 18-inch wheels support performance tires, and a sport suspension, larger disc brakes, stronger shocks, and an aerodynamic body improve overall performance.

The wagon seats four, with a cargo area that starts at 29 cubic feet and expands to 72 with the rear seats folded down. Tie-downs are included. Full power features include remote entry and 8-way adjustable front seats. Driver's memory settings can be added. Front and rear intermittent wipers, rain-sensing front wipers, OnStar, and a compass and temperature display join a personalized driver information center for convenience. Luxury is served up by black leather seats, a leather steering wheel, carbon fiber trim, a sunroof, and an 11-speaker, 6-CD player with MP3 playback and satellite radio. Controls reside on the steering wheel alongside the cruise control settings. Front and rear cupholders and a cooled storage compartment are also standard.

Though you might not think about safety when taking this sport wagon around curves, the 2008 Turbo X SportCombi features a self-leveling suspension, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes, electronic brake assist and brakeforce distribution, and traction and stability control. Dual front-side and side curtain airbags are standard, along with a tire monitor. Lighting up the way are automatic headlights, foglights, xenon headlamps, and cornering lights.
