The 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT1 with four-wheel-drive, the Long Box cargo bed, and the four-door Extended Cab seats up to six passengers. It offers reclining seats and extra storage areas in the cab, and just over 70 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear bed. It also provides additional traction and stability, thanks to its four-wheel-drive system.

A 295-horsepower, 4.8-liter Vortec V8 engine powers the 1500 LT1 Extended Cab LB 4WD. The engine links to a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission designed for smooth, quiet shifting. The transmission includes a Tow/Haul mode, which enhances performance when pulling a trailer or hauling heavy loads.

Standard features for the 1500 LT1 include power windows and door locks, remote keyless entry, a tire pressure monitor, OnStar, cruise control, and an AM/FM audio system with an MP3 input jack. Select Cloth seats come standard, but drivers can upgrade to optional Custom Leather seats.
