A new trim for 2008, and a step up from the entry-level ST trim, the Dodge Dakota SXT Crew Cab adds such features as power windows and door locks, remote keyless entry, speed control, a tilt steering column, and 16-inch cast aluminum wheels to the list of standard features.
The four-door SXT Crew Cab offers a roomy cabin, with seating for up to six passengers and 37 cubic feet of space, so no one will feel cramped inside. Other interior standard features include cloth bucket seats and a four-speaker AM/FM audio system with a CD player and an MP3 input jack. In addition, the center console includes a fold-out bin for electronics devices like cell phones or MP3 players as well as other items.
The 2008 Dodge Dakota SXT Crew Cab sports an updated, more-aerodynamic front end, with a new hood, grille, headlights, and front fascia. Other exterior features include a dual-position tailgate, which enables the Dakota SXT Crew Cab to carry extra-long cargo.
