Among the 4WD trims in the F-150 lineup, this trim represents the next step up from the XL SuperCab LB 4WD, at least pricewise. The STX SuperCab SB 4WD has a 4.6-liter, 248-hp V8 engine with a four-speed automatic transmission. You get four doors, room for six passengers, a 67-inch bed, and standard air-conditioning, a CD player, and ABS brakes. Unfortunately, this trim only hauls 6,000 lbs, the lowest figure among all F-150s. In addition, you can't upgrade to the 5.4-liter, 300-hp V8 engine. For a lower midrange trim, the STX SuperCab SB 4WD has a surprising lack of power and options that may turn off anyone interested in an F-150.
