2008 Infiniti EX35 Journey AWD

Although it comes equipped with intelligent AWD, which distributes torque according to road conditions, the 2008 Infiniti EX35 Journey AWD should not be taken off-road. It is strictly a high-performance luxury crossover, with 297 hp supplied by a 3.5-liter DOCH V6 and 5-speed shiftable automatic with sport mode and adaptive shift control. With less than seven inches of ground clearance, the AWD is meant strictly for improved on-road grip. The 17-inch alloy wheels can be upgraded to 18-inch wheels. The crossover seats four, with power-folding second-row seats that fold flat. The small 16.8-cubic-foot trunk can be supplemented with roof rails.

Good safety features abound in the 2008 EX35 Journey AWD. These include 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist, traction and stability control, parking sensors, a tire monitor, automatic headlights, rollover sensors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and dual front-side and side impact airbags. The lane-departure warning system can be upgraded with optional Lane Departure Prevention, which uses the brakes to keep the car from drifting. An optional Around View Monitor helps reduce blind spots by using cameras mounted on the front, rear, and sides of the car.

An 8-way power driver's seat and 4-way power passenger seat, full power setup, heated mirrors, wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, a CD player with MP3 input, satellite radio, automatic climate control, a trip computer with 7-inch screen, remote entry, remote start, and intermittent wipers provide both comfort and convenience. A power sunroof is also standard on the Journey. Options add heated seats, memory settings, a 6-CD changer, a hard drive, intelligent cruise control, upgraded leather, wood accents, and dual-zone climate control.
