Power windows (with one-touch), locks, and mirrors, remote entry, variable intermittent wipers, wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, a CD/MP3 player with radio data, a security system, and a power sunroof are all standard on the 2008 Civic EX-L Auto. The two-tier dash contains a temperature display, clock, and tachometer. Front passengers get two cupholders and a power-sliding center armrest. Rear passengers get their own cupholders and a split-folding backseat. The trunk holds 12 cubic feet and can be outfitted with a net and organizer.

A strong safety record continues for Honda, with standard 16-inch wheels and all-season tires, dual front-side and side curtain airbags for both rows, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes, a tire monitor, and daytime running lights.
