2008 Honda Civic Coupe LX Summary

Graduating to the 2008 Honda Civic Coupe LX over the base model gets you larger 16-inch steel wheels with all-season tires, air conditioning, a CD/MP3 player with 6 speakers, power mirrors, remote entry, and cruise control. This aerodynamic front-wheel drive coupe gets its power from a 1.8-liter, 140-hp inline four and 5-speed manual that deliver 128 ft-lbs of torque. A rear double wishbone suspension and four-wheel independent suspension tighten handling.

Standard safety equipment includes dual front-side and side curtain airbags for both rows, 4-wheel ABS brakes and electronic brakeforce distribution, front disc and rear drum brakes, daytime running lights, and a tire monitor. Foglights, larger 17-inch wheels, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are available. The 2008 Civic Coupe LX also adds a security system to its standard equipment, which includes power windows and locks, intermittent wipers, tilt and telescopic steering, and a tachometer. There are cupholders only for the front passengers, though rear cupholders can be added. Rear seats split-fold onto a 12 cubic foot trunk that comes with tie-downs. A net and organizer for the trunk cost extra. Other options include leather steering wheel trim, a CD changer, and remote start.
