Stepping up to the 2008 Accord Coupe EX adds a few more standard features to the base model. Though it shares the same 190-hp, 2.4-liter DOHC inline-four engine and choice of 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic, the Coupe EX offers a bit more luxury in the form of a standard sunroof and heated mirrors, and a more-stylish interior that uses blue lighting on the dash. The 6-CD player that includes MP3 capability gets an upgraded sound system with seven speakers and wheel-mounted audio controls.

Standard safety features include dual front-side and dual-chamber side curtain airbags, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, new traction and stability control, a tire monitor, halogen headlights, and daytime running lights. Foglights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and larger 18-inch wheels cost extra. Full power features, cruise control, remote entry, intermittent wipers, front cupholders, and a security system are all standard on the 2008 Accord Coupe EX. Rear seats hold two adults and one small child, and though overall length has increased, legroom only measures 33 inches. The seats split-fold, and the trunk holds nearly 12 cubic feet of space - pretty ample for a sports coupe. A cargo organizer, net, and tie-downs can be added. Other options include satellite radio, remote start, and Bluetooth.
