The i models are powered by a modest 2.3-liter inline four, which produces 153 horsepower and 152 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission on this model. The 2.3 offers 22/28 mpg fuel economy and is capable of towing 1,500 pounds.
