This entry-level XC houses a 3.2-liter V6 power plant, which produces 235 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional with the V6.
The 3.2 comes equipped with a generous package of base features, including wood interior trim, a power/memory driver seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a premium eight-speaker audio system with a CD/MP3 player.
There are two major option packages for the 3.2 XC90. The Premium and Versatility Packages will add many of the features found on the V8 trims, including leather seats, third-row seating, a power passenger seat, and a sunroof. Other options include rear park assist, power retractable side mirrors, and an interior air quality system.
