A new 393-horsepower, 6.2-liter Vortec V8 engine powers the 2008 Hummer H2 Base trim, which receives a number of interior enhancements designed to improve the big SUV's "rugged luxury" status. A new six-gauge instrument panel, head side-curtain airbags, a panic brake assist system, and an optional DVD entertainment system and optional full third-row seating are some of the additions for 2008.
