2008 Hummer H2 Adventure Summary
A step up from the Base trim, the 2008 Hummer H2 Adventure adds such features as a self-leveling rear air suspension system, an on-board air compressor, a brush grille guard, and a first aid/tool kit to the big SUV's list of standard equipment. In addition, a new 393-horsepower, 6.2-liter Vortec V8 engine powers the 2008 H2 Adventure. The engine links to a six-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
In addition to the new engine, a number of interior enhancements have been added to upgrade the H2 Adventure's "rugged luxury" status. Those new features include a six-gauge instrument panel, head side-curtain airbags, and a Panic Brake assist system, while new options include a DVD entertainment system and full third-row seating.
Other standard features for the 2008 H2 Adventure include a remote vehicle starter, leather-appointed seats with eight-way power adjustment for front passengers, dual-zone heating and cooling, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a Bose nine-speaker audio system, and XM satellite radio.
The Base H2 also comes equipped with a number of features designed to improve the vehicle's safety on the road, including the StabiliTrak stability enhancement system, a traction control system, a tire pressure monitoring system, and daytime running lights.
