2008 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer

Long and luxurious, the 2008 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer edition comes with an expanded list of upscale features and 24 more cubic feet of cargo space than the standard Eddie Bauer edition, thanks to the fact that its overall length was stretched by nearly 15 inches.

Inside, the Eddie Bauer EL pampers drivers with low-backed, two-tone leather-trimmed front captain's chairs with 10-way power adjustment and memory settings. Interior features also include a leather-wrapped steering wheel equipped with climate and audio controls, and a dual-zone climate control system.

Of course, it also offers all that extra interior space. And for easy loading and unloading, drivers can fold the second and third rows of seats down to create a flat load floor.

To ensure the 2008 Expedition Eddie Bauer EL stands out in a crowd, Ford equipped it with unique Pueblo Gold front and rear bumpers, as well as Pueblo Gold running boards, side cladding, and wheel-lip moldings, black heated exterior mirrors, and a chrome exhaust tip.

An upgraded Audiophile six-speaker AM/FM sound system with a six-disc in-dash CD changer and an MP3 input jack rounds out the upscale features.

A 300-horsepower, 5.4-liter V8 engine ably drives the Expedition Eddie Bauer edition, though gas mileage suffers. The engine links to a six-speed overdrive transmission. An AdvanceTrac traction control with Roll Stability Control (RSC), a Safety Canopy system with side airbags (including third-row side airbags), a tire pressure monitoring system, and independent rear suspension are also part of the package.
