2008 Mercury Sable Premier

The 2008 Mercury Sable Premier sedan is powered by a new 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 260 horsepower. The engine is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission, which is standard.

The front-wheel-drive Sable Premier sedan features a new grille, headlights, taillights, front bumper, and wheels, as well as sideview mirrors and door handles with a satin finish.

Inside, the steering wheel spokes and shifter knob also have a satin finish. Other new interior components include the instrument panel, as well as new interior colors and textures.

Standard features for the Sable Premier include leather seats, power-adjustable heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, interior wood trim, power windows, power heated mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 320-watt, seven-speaker AM/FM Audiophile stereo system with an in-dash six-disc CD changer and an MP3 input jack.

For safety features, the five-passenger Sable is equipped with six standard airbags, including front, front-side, and a Safety Canopy system with a rollover sensor.

A power moon roof and a voice-activated, DVD-based navigation system with a 6.5-inch color screen are among the options.
