2007 Ford Econoline Cargo E350 Super Duty Extended

For those who need a lot more cargo space and a lot more power, the 2007 Ford Econoline E350 Super Duty Extended fits the bill. Its 232 inches of length is 20 more than the regular E350 - that extra length increases the capacity of the cargo bay, which now holds 275 cubic feet. Access is through a hinged side door and rear barn doors. A sliding side door is optional. The rear-wheel-drive van seats two on a front-row bench, which can be changed to captain's chairs. A second-row bench is available.

Power comes from a 255-hp, 5.4-liter SOHC V8 and choice of 4-speed or 5-speed automatic transmission. Although fuel economy remains in the teens, towing capacity rises to 10,000 pounds with the optional trailer hitch. Other available engines include  a 6.0-liter turbodiesel V8 or 6.8-liter V10. A radio, air conditioning, tilt and power steering, intermittent front wipers, a tachometer, and front power outlets are the bare-bones features. However, options include power windows, locks, and mirrors, cruise control, a CD player, remote entry, and rear climate control. Low-to-average safety ratings might be caused by the lack of side curtain airbags and traction and stability control. 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes, dual front airbags, and 16-inch wheels with all-season tires are the only safety equipment, but parking sensors and a limited-slip differential can be added.
