2007 Ford Econoline Cargo E150

Focused on function rather than comfort, the 2007 Ford Econoline Cargo E150 is the base trim for this rear-wheel-drive cargo van. Its 4.6-liter, 225-hp V8 gets 286 ft-lbs of torque at 3,500 RPM and can tow up to 7,500 pounds with the optional trailer hitch. It's matched with a 4-speed automatic. A 5.4-liter V8 is also available. The 2007 Econoline Cargo E150 rides on a twin I-beam front and solid live axle rear suspension. It gets a larger rear stabilizer bar for 2007.

Standard features are kept to a minimum. Earning only four stars in frontal impact and two in rollover tests, the van comes equipped with 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, dual front airbags, and 16-inch wheels with all-season tires. Add-ons include a limited-slip rear differential, backup sensors, alloy wheels, and running boards.
  
The van seats two in a front-row bench, though captain's chairs and a second-row bench can be substituted. Cargo bay access is via a swing-out side door and a rear barn door, and a sliding side door is optional. The cargo area holds a max of 257 cubic feet. Tilt steering, air conditioning, a radio, and a tachometer make up the convenience features. Power windows, locks, and mirrors, cruise control, remote entry, and a CD player are available as options.
