ST features include only the bare necessities, namely a CD player and air conditioning, and the seats are upholstered in vinyl. The regular-cab Rams all come with 8-foot beds. The shorter 6.5-foot bed is not an option with this cab size.

Although the base-level ST is a minimally equipped version of the Ram, buyers do have the option of adding four-wheel drive. The electronically controlled 4WD system switches to a solid front axle, versus the 2WD's independent suspension, and recirculating-ball steering versus the 2WD's rack and pinion.
