All LT-level crew cabs are powered by Chevy's 5.3 liter V8, which generates 310 horsepower and is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Chevy claims a towing capacity of 9,100 pounds with this mill.

The crew cab body is only available with the shortest (69.2-inch) Silverado bed option. Any Silverado with 4WD may also be equipped with an optional off-road package, including a heavier-duty suspension and skid plates. A separate Limited Edition package includes a performance suspension, 20-inch wheels, a locking differential and towing preparation kit.

The LT3 trim is the top tier for the Silverado 1500, gaining exclusive standard features like alloy wheels and steering wheel audio controls. Other standard features include cruise control, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, full power accessories, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power seat for the driver and a premium Bose audio system.
