2007 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 TRX4 Off-Road Quad Cab

Using the SLT Quad Cab as its base, the 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 TRX4 Off-Road Quad Cab is a more rugged version of this one-ton heavy-duty pickup. As a Quad Cab, it seats six in two rows. Two regular-size front and two half-size, reverse-hinged rear doors provide access to the cabin. The second row split-folds, and with the optional rear sliding window you can extend the storage capacity of either a 6.3- or 8-foot pickup bed. The TRX4 stands for the 4WD system and off-road features, such as standard skid plates and both high- and low-range gear modes. It also features larger shocks and 17-inch alloy wheels with off-road tires.

Gruntwork is done by a 5.9-liter inline six, matched to either a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Together they put out 325 hp and an impressive 610 lb-ft of torque at a low 1,600 RPM. Tow hooks are standard, but with the optional trailer hitch the engine can pull over 10,000 pounds. The package rides on a short and long arm front and solid live axle rear suspension. Safety equipment for the 2007 Ram Pickup 3500 TRX4 includes foglights, a front stabilizer bar, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, and dual front-side airbags. Side curtain bags cost extra, along with an auto-dimming rearview mirror.  

Power windows, locks, and heated mirrors provide sought after convenience, and other standard features include remote entry, cruise control, a CD player, a front power outlet, intermittent front wipers, tilt and power steering, and a full-size spare tire. A tachometer, compass, and temperature gauge provide driver information. A cargo light comes as part of the pickup bed, but you'll pay extra for such things as a bedliner, cover, and net. A roof rack also costs more. More luxurious options include power front seats, satellite radio and a 6-CD changer, a navigation system, power-adjustable pedals, a DVD player, Bluetooth, wheel-mounted audio controls, and a sunroof.
