Chevy's electronically controlled 4WD system is differentiated from the 2WD drivetrain by a solid front axle versus an independent suspension, and the 2WD's rack-and-pinion steering is replaced with a recirculating-ball setup.
The Ram's SLT trim gains a number of essential convenience features, including keyless entry, cruise control, and full power accessories. The SLT also gains cloth seating, replacing the vinyl found in the ST. Alloy wheels are also included. A sunroof, satellite radio, and power-adjustable pedals are all optional at this trim level.
