2007 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 SLT Quad Cab Summary
The 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 SLT Quad Cab steps up from the ST with more desirable standard features, such as a full power setup, cruise control, remote entry, and a compass and temperature readout. 17-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires replace the steel ones on the ST, and cloth upholstery replaces vinyl. The Quad Cab means two rows of seats and four doors, though the rear passenger doors are not full-size and do not open independently of the front doors. The second-row bench seat split-folds. An optional sliding rear window opens onto the cargo bed, which comes as either the short 6.3-foot bed or the longer 8-foot one. Accessories such as a bedliner, cover, and tiedowns can be added.
A 6.7-liter inline six and 6-speed manual transmission drive this one-ton rear-wheel-drive pickup, putting out 350 hp at 3,010 RPM and 610 ft-lbs of torque at a low 1,400 RPM. A 4-speed automatic is optional. With the optional trailer hitch, it can tow more than 10,300 pounds. Tow hooks are standard. The pickup rides on a short and long arm front and solid live axle rear suspension. Safety features include 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and dual front airbags. In addition to the upgrades from the ST, the 2005 Ram Pickup 3500 SLT Quad Cab features a CD player, intermittent front wipers, tilt and power steering, a full-sized spare tire, a tachometer, heated mirrors, and a front power outlet.
Options add side curtain airbags for both rows, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, foglights, a limited-slip rear differential, and tubular side steps. More luxury options include power-adjustable pedals and a power driver's seat, a 6-CD changer, satellite radio, DVD Player, a navigation system, sunroof, Bluetooth, and wheel-mounted audio controls.
