Ram's Quad Cab gets two full size doors and three rear seats. A recently added extended version, the Mega Cab, adds 20 inches of space to the Quad Cab's interior.

The SLT trim gains a number of essential convenience features, including keyless entry, cruise control and full power accessories. The SLT also gains cloth seating, replacing the vinyl found in the ST. Alloy wheels are also included. A sunroof, satellite radio and power-adjustable pedals are all optional at this trim level.

Chevy's electronically controlled 4x4 system is differentiated from the 4x2 drive train by a solid front axle verses an independent suspension, and the 4x2's rack and pinion steering is replaced with a recirculating-ball setup here.
