The Ram 1500's ST trim is a simple, work-oriented truck with only the basic features. A CD player and air-conditioning are included, and the seats are upholstered in easy-to-clean vinyl.

The Quad Cab will seat six, as the ST trim features a 40/20/40 split front bench. This particular style gets a 6.5-foot bed, but a longer 8-foot bed is also available. Dodge's electronically controlled 4WD system is also included here, differentiated from the 4x2 by a solid front axle versus an independent suspension, and recirculating-ball steering versus the 4x2's rack-and-pinion steering.
