2005 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate
|
2005 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate Summary
Lincoln has always known how to build a luxury car, and it proved with the Navigator Ultimate that it also knows how to build a luxury full-sized SUV. A truly impressive list of creature comforts was included with the package, the most notable being heated and cooled front seats and power-deployable running boards - a unique offering among passenger vehicles.
Power is a theme with the Ultimate, as the other standards on this higher trim level were a power liftgate, power sunroof, and power-folding ability for the third-row seat, which could lie flat to accommodate groceries and other cargo that wouldn't otherwise fit in the smallish area behind that seat.
The Ultimate didn't come with absolutely everything - there was still a handful of optional items. Those were a voice-activated navigation system, a DVD entertainment system, daytime running lights, upgraded chrome wheels, and mud guards. There was also a trailer-tow prep package available; the rear-wheel drive Ultimate could pull up to 8,600 pounds.
