The Cobalt SS sedan upgrades to a larger 2.4 liter inline four, which generates 171 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque.   A five-speed manual transmission comes standard and a four-speed automatic is optional.  Exclusive SS features include a rear spoiler, special exterior trim, a sport suspension and 17-inch alloy wheels.
