The 2008 Audi TT 2.0T Roadster will follow its sister coupe later in the 2007 year, but it features the same lightweight aluminum body and new 200-hp direct fuel injection turbo 2.0-liter I4 engine.  A choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed S-Tronic auto/manual transmission is available.  The 2008 TT 2.0T Roadster comes standard with a manual soft top and rear glass window, but an automatic one is optional.  

The front-wheel drive convertible seats two and rests on 17-inch tires and comes standard with ABS brakes, traction and stability control, dual front-side airbags, a tire monitor, and fog lights.  It also features turn signals in the mirrors.  A security system is included.  The two-seater has a full array of power features, heated mirrors, cruise control, dual-zone climate, a CD player with MP3 compatibility, and leather sport seats.  Leather trim on the steering wheel and shifter is also standard.  Options are similar to the Coupe, and add larger performance tires, xenon headlamps, a navigation system, heated power front seats, an adjustable suspension, parking assist, shift paddles, satellite radio, 6-CD changer, and a short-throw shifter, depending on the various packages purchased.
