2007 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged Summary
The Supercharged variation of the Range Rover Sport jumps significantly in price beyond the HSE, but a more potent power plant and several additional features have been added. The Sport was introduced in 2006, as a sleek and athletic companion to the larger SUV. The 2007 model is unchanged.
The "Supercharged" badge signifies the replacement of the 4.4 liter V-8 with a 4.2 liter supercharged variation.
Horsepower jumps from 300 to 390, and torque is boosted by 95 pound-feet, now at 410. The V-8 is teamed with a very sophisticated six speed automatic transmission, which is able to readjust itself for different road conditions and driving styles.
This model comes equipped with all of the HSE's amenities, including leather seating, dual zone climate control, a 14 speaker Harmon-Kardon sound system, adaptive headlights, a DVD entertainment system, a satellite navigation system, center console cooler, and folding rear seats. Items unique to this model include 20 inch wheels and the Dynamic Response suspension system.
