The LR3 HSE is only available with the 300 horsepower, 4.4 liter V-8, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.  Other mechanical highlights include a five-setting variable 4WD system and a fully independent suspension system.  The HSE comes standard with all SE features, plus xenon headlights, a navigation system, Bluetooth, driver-seat memory settings and front parking sensors.  The SE's 240-watt Harmon Kardon audio system is swapped for a 14-speaker 550-watt surround sound system, also by Harmon Kardon.
