2007 Toyota Sienna 4 Dr XLE AWD Summary
The new Toyota Sienna receives additional power from a new V-6, making it the most powerful vehicle in its class. The Sienna lineup also includes a trio of all wheel models, which are the only three AWD minivans on the market for 2007. All Sienna models are now equipped with satellite radio capability.
The XLE model takes some significant steps beyond the lower level LE and the base CE Siennas. The CE and LE are priced in the same range, but XLE shoppers will be faced with a substantial increase on this model's MSRP. The price jump from XLE to XLE Limited is just as large. All Sienna models are well-equipped, with power windows and door locks, keyless entry, a CD changer, and cruise control. The XLE includes power front seats, wood trim, power rear lift gate, power sliding doors, tri-zone climate control, and automatic headlights. Desirable options like the navigation system (packaged with Bluetooth and a rear backup camera) are not available on the lower trim levels.
Additional safety features include an anti-theft system and a jam protection function for the automatic rear sliding doors. These items are added to Toyota's ABS system
with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist, and the Advanced Airbag System with front seat-side and side-curtain airbags.
The Sienna is the most powerful minivan on the market in 2007, thanks to a new 3.5 liter DOHC V-6. The 266 horsepower engine is enhanced by Variable Valve Timing + intelligence, and paired with a five speed automatic transmission. The 245 pound-feet of torque allows for the towing of 3500 pounds, and AWD offers some extra security. The effect of AWD on fuel efficiency is minimal, and this Sienna still reaches 18 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
