2007 Toyota Tacoma V-6 X-Runner Access Cab SB Summary
The Tacoma X-Runners are unique from all other versions of the mid-size pickup. This model uses a special X-braced frame, which allows for better handling and negotiation of turns. The body is lowered, and Toyota adds a sport-tuned suspension and wider tires. The result is a pickup that drives like a performance sedan. It is the ideal selection for those love the look of the Tacoma, but cannot bare the trucky feel in their everyday commuting.
The X-Runner model is only offered with the Access Cab body and rear wheel drive. The 4.0 liter V-6 provides 236 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, taking the truck from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.8 seconds. The engine is paired with a six speed manual as the only transmission option.
X-Runners also include a variety of standard features not found on any other Tacoma. The truck is outfitted with a full body skirt kit, hood scoop, 18 inch alloy wheels and Bridgestone Potenza tires, wheel well flares, and a front air dams. Many options like intermittent wipers, six-disc CD changer, power windows and locks, cruise control, and keyless entry are all standard here.
