2007 Toyota Tacoma V-6 Access Cab 4WD SB Automatic Summary

The 2007 Toyota Tacoma is available in a variety of configurations.  This model may represent the ideal blend of features for many buyers, but the truck loyalists may find it falls just short of their needs.  While this model is certainly capable and powerful, Toyota has sacrificed bed length for passenger space.  The bed still stretches to 60 inches, but some Tacoma models offer an extra foot.
The 4x4 Access Cab Tacoma is available with either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission.  Both are mated to a 4.0 liter V-6 with TRD's Variable Valve Timing + intelligence engine technology.  VVT-i boosts horsepower, increases fuel economy, and lowers emissions.  Drivers still should not expect fuel economy above the high teens for this model, but the manual transmission will offer a slight improvement.  The 3965 pound truck receives 236 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque from the V-6, and runs from 0 to 60 mph in about 10 seconds.
This Access Cab is capable 4x4, adding Toyota's 4WDemand system and a two-speed electronically controlled transfer case.  The inclusion of 4WD and the V-6 engine increases the availability of option packages.  This model can be equipped with the TRD Off-Road or TRD Sport packages, and the V-6 towing option is also offered.  The basic Convenience Package adds power features, cruise control, keyless entry, and a sliding rear window.
