2007 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L Access Cab 4WD SB Summary
With eighteen variations to choose from, the 2007 Toyota Tacoma is one of the most configurable trucks on the market. The same can be said for Toyota's full size Tundra, which has over thirty possible engine, drive train, bed size, cab layout, and trim combinations. The Tacoma does not offer specific trims like Limited or SR5, but similar finishes are available here as option packages.
Because this Tacoma uses a four cylinder engine, it is not available with the TRD off-road package. Only the appearance-focused SR5 upgrade is offered. All Access Cab Tacoma models come standard with a six-speaker CD audio system and air conditioning. Almost all available safety features are standard, including Toyota's Advanced Airbag System, ABS, and child restraints. Toyota offers a variety of additions to their Vehicle Stability Control systems as options on the 4x4, including automatic limited-slip rear differential and Hill Start assist Control.
The Access Cab is available with both engine options. This model uses the 2.7 liter DOHC inline four, which makes 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The 4x4 models add larger tires, but towing capacity remains at 3500 pounds.
