2007 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L Access Cab 2WD SB Automatic

The 2007 Toyota tacoma is now classified as a mid-size pickup, after a 2005 extended the truck in all directions, and new cab configurations became available.  The term "Access Cab" denotes a four dour extended cab layout, with smaller rear doors that open in the opposing direction from the fronts.  The result is easier access to the semi-compact back seat.  Access Cab models do not offer a choice of bed size: the full 73 inch bed comes with every model.
Access Cab Tacomas are offered with a myriad of engine, drive train, and option package combinations.  This model includes a 2.7 liter DOHC four cylinder engine, mated with a four-speed automatic transmission. This inline four produces 159 horsepower and 180 pound feet of torque.  Toyota adds a TRD technology called Variable Valve Timing + intelligence, which increases power, lowers emissions, and improves fuel economy.  The EPA mixed driving mpg average for the four cylinder Tacoma is estimated to reach into the low 20s.
This Access Cab is available with only of finite selection of options packages, due to the smaller engine and 2WD.  Only two packages are available.  The Convenience Package adds some additional features like power windows and door locks, keyless entry system, cruise control, and a sliding rear window.  The SR5 Package is largely aesthetic, adding chrome grille surround and rear bumper, a metallic-tone instrument panel trim,  and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter.
